Our Chips…
Our potatoes are delivered farm fresh in paper sacks and we peel and hand cut here in-house every day. We then use the “triple cook” method for a crisp crunchy chip with a soft fluffy centre… Delicious!
Afternoon Tea for Two
We asked, we listened! In our recent Facebook poll we asked you what you would like to see on offer at The Ash, and with an overwhelming majority, you asked for Classical Afternoon Teas..
These are available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons and made freshly to order, so pre-booking is essential.
Sunday Roasts
All Sunday roasts are served with a Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a rich gravy. What lovelier end to the week is there than to enjoy a Great British traditional Sunday Roast dinner with your family and friends? Available on Sundays from 11 am

Our home made desserts vary from time to time, so please do look at our dessert options on the blackboard when you visit us. However our most popular dessert options are, subject to demand, always available.

Supporting local business is key to our hearts and we source as much from local suppliers as possible; meat, vegetables and even our fish comes straight from the trawlers overnight to Stansted before going to Billingsgate! We strive to use nothing but the best and freshest ingredients.
With a comprehensive menu we offer traditional pub food with an a la carte menu available for those special occasions. Every day we have a chef’s special meal; on Sundays we offer a traditional Sunday lunch as well as weekly special offers to keep everyone on their toes!
