All excellent! Great place to stay overnight before flying from Stansted. Comfy room, great pub food and the taxi arrived on time at 3.30am. Cheaper and much nicer than staying in one of the airport hotels.

We stayed her prior to our flight and had such a fantastic meal, that we ate here again before driving home. The landlord even remembered us and returned a mobile charger that we had left and wasn’t even aware we had 10/10

Fabulous food for a Sunday afternoon and excellent service. Will be coming back again.

Found this pub online thought give it a try we’re flying out from stansted tomorrow so thought we would start the holiday with a roast . Have to say it was the best roast in a pub we have had in ages. Food superb staff welcoming and friendly highly recommend this pub.

Very good service, , excellent traditional sandwiches, Ham and Tomato presented in classic triangles, and Bacon and Mushroom Ciabata, will come again

The best Sunday Lunch ever ! Three big slices of meat and all the fresh veg you could want. Absolutely yummy 😋

If you enjoy a proper home cooked Sunday dinner and are worried it won’t come up to meet a) your home cooked size! b) value for money c) the way you like it! Then look no further. A huge roast with lashings of gravy on the side so you can decide how much and where you want it. Meat V Veg concerns when contemplating eating Sunday dinner out – look no further this is your place if you like enough meat to last until the last mouthful! We were apprehensive as I cook a mean roast but this was amazing and so far the best we’ve ever had out! ………plus a good pint 👍

You guys are seriously amazing, me and my partner come quite regularly now and we love coming because it’s such a lovely place with such lovely staff
