generous portions , home cooked food deserts are amazing !! the staff are friendly and comfortable

If you enjoy a proper home cooked Sunday dinner and are worried it won’t come up to meet a) your home cooked size! b) value for money c) the way you like it! Then look no further. A huge roast with lashings of gravy on the side so you can decide how much and where you want it. Meat V Veg concerns when contemplating eating Sunday dinner out – look no further this is your place if you like enough meat to last until the last mouthful! We were apprehensive as I cook a mean roast but this was amazing and so far the best we’ve ever had out! ………plus a good pint 👍

You guys are seriously amazing, me and my partner come quite regularly now and we love coming because it’s such a lovely place with such lovely staff

We have been looking for a stand out Sunday roast pub for a while and this did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. Yorkshire puddings huge and the gravy really good. Service friendly too and it’s dog friendly in the bar.

Well worth a visit. I was staying in an airport hotel while on business and being part of a captive audience wanted a decent meal. I was with somebody who had some local knowledge and we paid a visit. I had a home made steak and mushroom pie and it was excellent, I enjoyed every last bit of it. The service was excellent, very attentive, I had to wait a little while for the food to arrive but to me it didn’t matter as I was served a freshly cooked totally satisfying meal, well worth the wait. Would highly recommend and will visit again.

Lovely place for a relaxing homemade style dinner. Roasts are lovely. Good portions.

The staff are so nice, friendly & accommodating.

Garden is big & gets the sun. Good parking (no annoying number plate input machines)
